I knew Janet had passed away, but always think of her on her birthday. We were friends since age 5 or so, kindergarten. We took piano lessons together, spent the night at one another's homes, and it was she who introduced me to Madam Alexander dolls! In high school, I often went to her house on East Elm, or maybe Oak Street and waited to go to the basketball or football games. I will always remember our friendship. Vicki Nicholson Walker
