Hey Heidi hope you had a great day and congrats.
I know I had a toast for you and im sure others did as well.
Chris sounds like a crazy dream. Im sure Joey and Murph wish they had boobs. At least murph, then he could play with them all day

If I remember murph does make a pretty girl, think it was spirit week one year
I had bigger and juicier boobs though (sunkist oranges)

Thanks Mike! I had fun putting that one together but it was a little time consuming finding all the links. So today we're back to one song of the day. :)

Today's song is Billy Squier's "My Kinda Lover" from his awesome 1981 record Don't Say No.

Have a good day everybody.

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! Guess What? Dan Akroyd was just in my store. He was SO nice and very hilarious! Apparently, he's playing here at the House of Blues tonight with Buddy Guy. I couldn't bring myself to dork out and ask him for a photo. But, I had to share....

Holy cow Lisa, that's awesome!

I'm sorry Jennifer. I don't mean to step on your toes however....I will. I was driving to New Baltimore today to see my Dad. I heard Beastie Boys - Girls on XM and was cracking up. I've spend 20 minutes looking on YouTube and cannot find the original video. So I found the next best thing.
Enjoy:

Jennifer....I might just as well step on the toes of your other foot. Sorry...I'll quit now and let you take it from here. You're doing a great job.

Two memories about this song.
1. Driving down Jefferson in the pouring rain with Jeff and Steve in Jeff's "Nowaygo". While jamming this song, Jeff pulled the emergency brake and we did a 360 in the middle of Jefferson.
2. Matt and I installed an amp booster in our Red Ford LTD II. We chose this song to break it in. We cranked up the radio kicked on the boost and promptly blew all of the speakers in the car.

Enjoy:

Lol... Mike, you're not stepping on any toes. You and everyone else can post as many songs as you like. I'm just happy to post some that meant something to me too and it's kind of fun.

I actually did post the Cult's Rain wayyyy early on when I first joined the board but there was a lot of fast and furious posting then so it was easy to miss.

MELDRUM... that dream isnt really that weird... i mean, joey and i going to a party, having to wait on you? sounds resonable... and i do play with my boobies a lot, so that makes sense as well....

thanks JOEY on the compliment... they are perky! but they look awful in a low cut top as the hair on my head migrated to my chest (and ears and nose and even back) i need to get that taken care of soon... your rack aint so bad either ales... nicely shaped and... oh.... those nips!

10/11/08 08:54 PM #379

Murph - Do you wear a turtleneck to work? I would think the boobies would be a distraction when flying.

Whooo hoooo - Wings won tonight! :)

Ok...I had a repeat so I'll post one more. The ultimate music video/adult cartoon..kinda. I still love it and listen to them on long drives.

Murf,

You promised not to say anything about my piercing.

Can I just say how much I freaking love Center Ice? Soooo muuuuchhhh hockey. I'm in heaven. Lee and I have watched TWELVE hockey games tonight! :) But mostly the Wings' game.

Hey Bunz,

Hang the dj, hang the dj, hang the dj.......... hang the dj, hanf the dj, hang the dj......hang the dj hang the dj, hang the dj, hand the dj..... hang the dj, hang the dj hang the dj, hang the dj...

Joey... I was just singing the Smith's too. I was singing this one. It's something I always sing during hockey games - I think it's because of the line:

"Sweetness, sweetness I was only joking
When I said I'd like to smash every tooth
In your head"

10/11/08 10:25 PM #387

Joseph Ales

Jen,

Love the hockey package too. Except I got totally involved in the Hawks (they lost to the caps), that I forgot about the Wings (saw the game the other day though). And the worst part is that I have a room with multiple viewing options so I could have watched them both.

10/11/08 10:28 PM #388

Joseph Ales

Jen, My favorite (lately) is

Paint A Vulgar Picture - The Smiths

10/11/08 10:29 PM #389

Jennifer Schwab

Wait, you have a room with multiple viewing options AND center ice??? Can I come over to your house?

Lee and I will forgo a lot of things right now in this economy, but we have come to the conclusion that we would rather eat less than get rid of the center ice package.

10/11/08 10:31 PM #390

Jennifer Schwab

That's a great one Joe. Though, the Smith's can do no wrong in my eyes. (ears?)

10/11/08 10:32 PM #391

Joseph Ales

Jen,

I have the coolest room for sports viewing (five screens). My family loves it because it keeps me from spending all my time at the sports bar or sports book.

10/11/08 10:34 PM #392

Joseph Ales

Did I mention that my wife hates my sports viewing room, because it keeps me in. I think she'd occasionally like to go out? I think?

10/11/08 10:35 PM #393

Jennifer Schwab

Lee and I just have our little 32" teevee, tivo and Center Ice. But that's all we really need. I just wish we had hi-def.
