Mary Franks well, i'm all relaxed from a massage today, christmas shopping is done, still have money in the bank, and we're child-free tonight! i wasn't thinking about going out, but now it seems almost mandatory doesn't it?? lol

I've been busy with the holiday rush and have not been on here often. Plus we have been getting hit with snow and although Seattle is farther north than Detroit we usually don't see much snow (Pacific Ocean moderates temps) They do not have things like plows and salt trucks to keep roads clear. We have gotten about 12" total since Wednesday but it is enough to shut down schools and even Fort Lewis (where I work). It is nice to have a white Xmas though.

Michael Koehs Hi Lisa... just to make us feel better, can you tell us how warm it is there today? I'm guessing it's not 80 anymore, but it's got to be better than -10 with windchill... :-)

Actually Mike, its COOOOLD today...its only 40ish but they say it'll be 77 on Christmas Eve. There are days I switch from AC to Heat in a matter of hours. Our weather is bi-polar, literally.

The weather here can be nice, but I miss snuggling up and looking out at the snow. As long as I don't have to go out and shovel it, or drive in it, or stop for gas, or worry about my kitchen pipes freezing...on second thought, you can have that crap. hehe

As soon as my dad and brother get home, we're heading down to the Van Elslander center to deliver a truckload of toys. I'm so excited! The weather isn't gonna stop us. If Santa can travel in the snow, so can we.

thanks for the birthday love. after work we went to rosies.. had to behave because i had to work again the next day. i am one year closer to retirement and drinks any time of the day.

hope you had a good birthday krista. my daughters dont let me forget about the cheating on the drivers test. are you sure we did that? ha.
