For those of you in Southeastern Michigan that are bored or looking for something to entertain kids with Saturday (the 24th), I'd like to introduce you to my obsession/hobby.

I keep/breed tropical fish, and the aquarium society I belong to is having a tropical fish auction at the Fraternal Order of Police lodge at 33845 24 Mile Rd in Chesterfield Twp (this is just west of Baker Rd).

We typically have about 500 bags of fish to auction off and the auction runs from 11:00am until 4-5:00pm. So if you want to see a bunch of crazy people bidding on fish, or some cool looking fish, come on over. Admission is free.

Mary Franks Hey Marty, that sounds interesting. I love fish! Even have a tatoo of an angel fish (hey I was young, what the heck)All I have at the moment is a pretty red Betta named Pulse, haha! We're going to Tigerfest tomorrow or I'd go to the auction. Have fun!

Super Bowl madness is alive and well here in sunny (and much warmer than last week) Tampa. If anyone is actually going to be in town for the game this weekend, give me a call. We, of course, will be staying far away from the chaos and will just watch at home on the big screen : ) Then my kids will celebrate the end of football season and be thrilled until my husband starts watching basketball or baseball. Have fun at Rosie's.
