Thompson, that's so funny about you mentioning coneys. I was just downtown filing something at the federal court and stopped in for a couple!

Thompson that is funny!!! Poor kid. I can honestly say that I peed on myself when I was around 12-13. Mary Frontera and I were sledding off the Callens road bridge and we were double-deckered. I was on top and we were laughing so hard that I peed myself. I had to walk home with my pants completely soaked. My mom was not very pleased. First because I did it and second because I was old enough not to do something like that. It happened and Mary and I still come to tears laughing about it. Oh the joys of adolescence.

I'm back!

I pee'd myself too at 15.

On the frozen Salt River while Shannon Slaughter and I had an inner tube tied behind my snow mobile. I was on the inner tube and she ran me, head first, into a musk rat hill. I pissed my whole snow suit laughing and I'd do that again in a heart beat it was so much fun.

Good times.

Hey everyone!
MT - that story was hilarious. Who knew everyone had some many pee stories!!

Murph - I was just at Gusoline Alley - one of my favorite spots. I took my sister there for a beer after her birthday dinner. Sorry you had a crash - hope you are okay.

Hope everyone is having a good new year. And Lisa I think peas and cabbage are just wrong anyday of the year. Like your idea much better.

Going to another 40th birthday party tonight - remember when 21 was the fun age to celebrate?? I am feeling old!!

this video is hilarious! It's funny to see how many different types of dancing that are from our lifetimes alone.

Marty - thank you so much for posting that video! I loved it, my kids loved it. I can't tell you how many times they've watched it and tried to do all the dances! I own about 90% of those cd's (even the Brady Bunch) so we of course then had to listen to all the songs in full! what a fun day! this video has a permanent place on my facebook

The first time I watched it I was waiting for my turn at the Wayne County Register of Deeds waiting to record some documents. The clerks kept looking at me because I kept laughing out loud (if you've seen some of the wackos that walk into their offices you'd be sympathetic to these guys) so I showed them the video and they started laughing too!

Another good video on youtube is Achmed the dead terrorist. Jeff Dunham is an exceptional ventriloquist (not sure how kid friendly that one is)

Krista, I just read the story about your husband rescuing the goose whose feathers were frozen to the ice in the Clinton River. Wow! What a hero!

01/19/09 06:10 PM #1831

Krista Furtah (Rickert)

Wendy...Yep, that was my hubby that saved that goose frozen onto the Clinton River...we've had quite a few laughs over that rescue! This "ice fishing" season drives me crazy..he gets called all the time to rescue those idiots that venture out on unsafe ice...so stay off the ice people - at least in Macomb County ;)

Great song, Jennifer. Very inspirational and a good start to my day. Hope everyone is having a great 2009 so far. Here in sunny Tampa it a COLD 36 degrees. My kids were hoping for the snow fluuries that were possible but they didn't come! Of course, there's always tonight which is supposed to be the coldest temperature in more than a year. Happy Wednesday.

Sounds like everyone is trying to stay warm. My wife and I were talking about going somewhere during her university's spring break but I guess Florida is not the place to be right now. Just as important to us is someplace sunny since 8 months of rain in the Seattle area gets old after 3 years of living here. Right now we are looking at San Diego.

I have received my acceptance letter from the Geology Dept. at Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison so next fall I will start my PhD program there.

pee stories, of course murph would have one
I figured you would have a golden shower story murph
I got a couple
First one in highschool, think it was from drinking on a school night. I got up in the middle of the night and walked downstairs and peed in the garbage can under the kitchen sink

the other story is from college, the first night at Central after meeting my new dorm mates. My one roommate went out drinking while we built our loft. Scott Fournier and myself were in the same room. Later that nite my roommate Rick Rachner came in drunk and walked in our room instead of the bathroom and peed on my chair. The funny thing was watching him try to flush!!
All was good and Rick was a great roommate. Im sure a few of you remember what a blast Rick was. Some might even remember buddah stick night
