Shayner McBrearty

Now lets be realistic, I spent more time with this class than I did with my own. Besides if I remember correctly, Stacy was in my class as well so I wont be alone. :)

Remember wine gets better with age.

Nothing but love,

The Shayner

Kristi,

On tracking the ever elusive Little Rhino Doc Salters, maybe Lance Jonas could tap one of the coaches still around CHS or Middle school and find his tracks. Just a thought.

Ok, Golf update, I have reserved a tee-time for sat. morning 8:30 a.m. for 8 players. Players thus far are: Tom, Rob, Flopster, Shayner, Mark Squires. If you are interested in playing let me know asap.

Doh! Man, I'd love to hit up a round of golf with you guys on Saturday morning, but it's the wife's birthday on the 16th, so it's in my best interest not to bail on her. I'm in for toobing that morning, though, if anyone else is. The wife's into that.

Sorry, I don't have any guns, scooters, or archery paraphernalia.

Bummer that Gina and Willie can't be there, but I know you guys will be with us in spirit.

Ron, I am going to check with Kitty to see if her sister can save us a few tubes for that morning. Would you mind being the "Tubing Chair"? More than likely I will not be participating in any day activities on Saturday since my neice will be getting married. Will catch up with everyone in the evening.

Hey Ron,

“it's the wife's birthday on the 16th, so it's in my best interest not to bail on her”

Good move.

“Sorry, I don't have any guns, scooters, or archery paraphernalia.”

Why the heck not??

And now you have been officially promoted to “Tubing Chair” Life is good :D

Greg, Did I fail to mention that you were the "Scooter/Range Chair"? The job is quite simple--you will have a list of people wanting to attend and if they show up, they show up, if they don't, they don't. Thought a good meeting spot for the scooter would be the New Braunfels Harley Davidson shop:-?

As long as "Scooter/Range Chair" comes with a really groovy pin. :-D

Most definately!!

Hmm… “Toobing Czar”, eh? I might be able to do that, but I’ve got some wife bday errands to run Saturday morning. Picking up a cake from Naegelin’s, etc. Let’s see how many people are interested in a tube trip and take it from there.

Kristi / Tiffany,
Just a suggestion...Can someone make an itenerary, listing all the definite events, days/times, where to meet, who to call, etc. Then post it on the website for folks to download. It's been a little confusing for me to keep up with everything going on. Thanks!

Will get you details as fast as I get them. We are waiting to see if we can get group rates on tube rentals so I do not have that location just yet.

After thinking about it for awhile the “twisted sisters” is out for me. That would be an ALL day commitment and would require getting up way early and I don’t know that I feel like doing that. There is however some good riding around the lake and such without venturing too far from NB.

You can call 1-800-55-FLOAT for Rockin "R" group rates. They will quote you for the Comal or the Guadelupe. A friendly suggestion would be a shorter float. The sun and a beer work double time on your endurance. If you party too much you might not make it to the evening event. I sure Schlitterbahn will do a group rate also, but they probably have a minimum on what they consider a group. I am up for some skeet golfing or I could steal my little bros scooter for a ride. No horses( that was a bad chapter in my life). I it easier to throw your money sraight down the toilet. And the only bow I have shoots marshmellows.

The Comal would probably be your best bet for a float trip. The Gualdelupe is a little low, from first crossing to Gruene is about 8 hours in a tube. Its probably 3 hours from Gruene to the park. The shortest on the Guadelupe would be 1 to 1 1/2 hours from Gruene to Double Rockin "R".

Thanks Mike. That is helpful. While it used to be something I kept track of, I have not looked at the flow. Great point and unless Dolly brings us lots of rain I expect it will be worse in August! I agree with you on not over consuming the sun and spirits.

And the skeet golfing--Is Deitz still the best place?

yep

Evan~~ In response to your posting--I will never forget one of the life's lessons that your step Mom taught us in class...."Always wear good underwear when you go to the mall!" Apparently her pants got caught in the escalator and she had to drop her drawers to exit. Think of her every time I get on an escalator!!!

What is she up to these days these days?

She is still teaching Senior English and doing UIL speech and debate teams in the lovely town of Van Alstyne Texas. Thomas I am in for golf and let me know if you want any giveaways, door prizes etc. I work for a golf company so it is no problem.

Evan... now you know we have some stories to tell...lol can we tell them now? where is Mr. Everything Jimmy Wilson?

07/22/08 12:04 PM #37

Evan Endicott

Willie sorry to hear about your dad. Please keep me posted on how he is doing. I will NEVER forget the last game of our senior season in Boerne when he walked in with a german shepard and no one had the stones to tell him he couldn't do it. And you can thank me later for defending your honor during the fight. Do you still have the tape of that?

07/22/08 12:14 PM #38

Kristi Koehler (Squires)

We might need to show that one at the reunion!

So Evan, if I really, really want to play golf on Saturday but I really, really suck.... Can I still play?
