My Dear Canyon Cougars,
I am Ben and Gloria Hardy's youngest son, Leroy.  By virtue of you being on this email list, you are considered to be a pillar of the history of the Canyon High sports community and I am reaching out to see if I could please get your help.
NOTE THE ATTACHMENT
In the 66-year history of Canyon High School, an event like this has never occurred.
CHS Assistant Athletic Director and 28-year Volleyball Coach Heather Sanders and I are coordinating a once-in-a-lifetime evening to celebrate the athletic legacy of our school. This night is not a fundraiser, nor is it political. It is purely an opportunity for all former Canyon Cougars to come together and celebrate us!
 
What to Expect:
* A Short Powerful Memorable Moment-in-Time:  Complete with Canyon student-athlete difference makers over the years.
*The Ultimate Complimentary Commemorative Program: Unlike anything ever done before. It will Forever serve as the Bible of athletic history of your beloved Canyon.
*Pssst ... there will be a major surprize announcement!
*History in the making: Following the celebration, cheer on our incredibly talented Cougarette volleyball team as they meet district rival Steele. The team is led by Coach Sanders’ daughter, Logan, who is the first Canyon Cougar Volleyball player to hit 4000 assists at Canyon and in the greater San Antonio area! 
 
Whether you walked the halls decades ago or just recently graduated, your presence is what will make this night unforgettable -- and every single former Cougar needs to be there!

Share on Social Media. Class Websites. Reach out to friends, your siblings, your parents, your community, your neighbors, Facebook groups, your church, local sports fans but most of all your former classmates - and especially teammates with personalized invites. Many of our 'senior' athletic alumni do not email. They need to be located and reached by phone with the information. Word of mouth is absolutely necessary with people my age! Send the attachment as often as you can to whomever you can so we can pack the stands with our Forever Red school spirit.
