

Joseph M. Sirko, 54, of Farmington, died unexpectedly on Monday, (December 20, 2004) at his home. He was the beloved life partner of Janet Caramma. Born and raised in New Britain, son of the late Joseph and Victoria (Unghire) Sirko, he was a Farmington resident for the past 12 years. Joe graduated from Pulaski High School and Central Connecticut State University and was employed by Dell Manufacturing, Farmington, for more than 25 years. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and gardener.
His survivors include his son Joseph M. Sirko, Jr. and Andrea Hurt of Farmington and their daughter Makenzie Sirko; his stepchildren, Becky Pelletier and her children Corey, Meghan, and Daniel of Chaplin, and Stephan Caramma and his wife Sherry and their children Devin and Sarah of Newington. He also leaves two sisters, Patricia Wojcik and her husband Vinnie of Ft. Meyers, FL, and Susan Sirko of Wethersfield; and two nephews and a niece, Vinnie, Tricia and her husband Rich, and Marc.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends are invited to call on TODAY (Wednesday) from 5-8 p.m. at Burritt Hill.
