Daryl Bowman VIEW PROFILE

BOWMAN, Daryl Ray 63, of South Vienna, passed away, Tuesday, May 27, 2014 in his home surrounded by his family singing over him as he went to meet his King Jesus. He was born September 18, 1950 in Piqua, Ohio. Daryl was a 1968 graduate of Tecumseh High School and earned a degree in Agriculture Business from Clark State College. He was a member of Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship Church. He retired after 25 years of service from UPS. Daryl was always a farmer at heart. He loved tractors and tractor pulls. He also enjoyed adding the bass line while singing with friends and family. Daryl was a committed Christ follower and remained faithful to the Lord through all of his trials. Daryl is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Pamela Sue (Cremeens) Bowman, his son, Chad (Elizabeth) Bowman of Columbus, his daughter, Natalie Bowman of Springfield, 2 grandchildren, Evelyn and Oliver Bowman; father-in-law, Louie Cremeens; sisters, Millie (Nick) Thompson and Janet (Darryl) Filbrun, brother, Ken (Rhoda) Bowman as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and numerous dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Pauline (Montgomery) Bowman, mother-in-law, Velma Cremeens and a brother, Keith Bowman. A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, May 30, 2014 from 3-8 PM at Mechanicsburg Christian Fellowship Church, 4401 Allison Rd, Mechanicsburg. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 AM in the church with Pastor Linden Good officiating; the family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM in Glen Haven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice, 444 W. Harding Road, Springfield, OH 45504.
