Ms. Elizabeth Pearl (Webb) Soto, age 39, of New Castle, DE, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 17, 2010.

Born in Wilmington on January 29, 1970, Elizabeth ("Baby Girl") was the daughter of the late William J. Webb, Sr. and Vonnie Webb. She was a 1988 graduate of William Penn High School, where she was certified in Early Childhood Education. Elizabeth devoted herself to teaching children. She especially enjoyed teaching Sunday School and hosting Vacation Bible School. A caring and compassionate person throughout her life, she loved the Lord, her family, friends, church colleagues, and co-workers.

In her leisure hours, Elizabeth enjoyed traveling, reading, music, and spending time with friends.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Jose A. Soto; a brother, William Webb, Jr.; a sister, Sharon Malone (Roger); several nieces and nephews; and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Iron Hill Community Church, 22 Parkway Circle, New Castle, DE, 19720, where visitation will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will be held privately at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Elizabeth may be made to Iron Hill Community Church at the address above.
