Cathleen V. Baron, of New Castle, died on Monday, November 12, 2001 at Christiana Hospital in Newark.

Ms. Baron was born in Wilmington, DE and had worked in customer service at the Bank of New York in Wilmington. She attended William Penn High School, New Castle, graduating in 1988. She attended Delaware Technical & Community College and the University of Delaware in pursuit of a Nursing and Psychology degree, but had to stop due to her health. She also enjoyed photography, poetry, bungy jumping and was a Star Wars fan.

Ms. Baron is survived by her father and stepmother, Thomas J. and Jody Baron of New Castle; mother, Helen G. Baron of New Castle, with whom she lived; sister, Susan L. Baron of New Castle; stepsisters, Kimberly Hamilton of Junction City, KS and Jody Small of Memphis, TN; godmother, Kathy Nichols; godfather, Mark Gilligan and many aunts, uncles and adoring cousins.
