I retired from teaching Family and Consumer Science at NCCHS 12 years ago. We moved to Florida and 'hung out' for a couple of years. Then I sort of fell into a job in human resources and training for a manufacturing facility. I dropped the h.r. side and now work part time training, writing grants, etc. Jerry is totally retired (from Chrysler) and enjoys his 'house husband' role.
Our blended family keeps us busy traveling from Florida to Indiana, Ohio and South Florida. The grandkids are terrific! We traded in our cute little convertible for a Gran Van (Chrysler minivan) to transport the little ones easier.
We love, love living in Florida. It's hot in the summer, but we never shovel snow! And the malls are all air conditioned!
I would loved to have been at the 40th reunion, but couldn't make it this time. I'll see you all at the 50th if I possibly can!
