Noe, Gregory A. "Greg" Age 40, of Joliet, passed away suddenly Thursday, May 3, 2012. Born December 22, 1971 in Beardstown, IL, he was a 1990 graduate of Lincolnway High School in New Lenox. He worked for Apollo Colors Inc. in Rockdale for 16 years, and attained the position of supervisor for many of those years. Most recently he was employed by ExxonMobil. Greg was a loving husband, devoted father, wonderful son and dear friend. He was a passionate fan of music, and enjoyed playing both guitar and bass and writing his own songs. His favorite artists included: Live, Dream Theater, Rush, Black Label Society, U2 and Transiberian Orchestra, and he attended countless concerts. He had many dreams of being an entrepreneur and most especially of becoming involved in the music business through promotion of undiscovered talent and little-known musicians. An avid fan of sports, Greg particularly favored the Chicago Cubs and New England Patriots, and preferred college basketball over the NBA. He also enjoyed reading and fishing, and passed on those interests to his beloved children. Surviving are his devoted wife, Megan (nee Kelly) Noe; three precious children, Tyler, Audrey and Erik; his parents, William and Marilyn (nee Noe) McLin; two step-brothers, Travis (Jane) McLin and Lance (Mindy) McLin; mother-in-law, Geraldine Kelly; brothers and sisters-in-law, Kevin Kelly, Victoria Kelly, Sean (Kimberly) Kelly, Brian (Kimberly) Kelly, Brenda (David) Cichon, Patrick Kelly, and Matthew (Tracey) Kelly; and his nieces and nephews, Cecily McLin, Nickholas McLin, Tyler Rock, Katelyn McLin, Trevur McLin, Logan McLin, Brianna Kelly, Kendall Kelly, Ethan Kelly, Kaitlyn Kelly, Hannah Cichon, Madelyn Cichon, Jordyn Hill, and Jonah Kelly. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, a devoted uncle, Gary Noe, also survive, as well as many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, including maternal grandmother Grace Noe; one half-brother, Troy Ray Bettis; and his father-in-law, William "Bob" Kelly. Visitation for Greg will be held Friday, May 11, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. with a memorial service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the benefit of his three children would be appreciated. Arrangements by: FRED C.
