My memory of Ella is as a child we'd hang out at her house and we toasted pumpkin seeds in her moms kitchen, and we'd also terrorize the neighborhood. She was always such a nice and caring person. I'm so sorry she lost the fight with cancer, but I'm sure she was a strong women and didn't go without one heck of a fight! You will be sadly missed Ella by everyone who's life you ever touched, rest in peace.
I wish we could of kept in contact....

When I first moved to NL in 8th grade, she was one of the first ones to welcome me and make me feel comfortable in a new school and town. I will always remember her for that.My wife also remembers her being very nice during her short time at Manawa school.
Our thoughts are prayers are with her and her family.

I was so sad when I read about Ella's passing. She was a person that I don't believe had a mean bone in her body. Blessings and prayers to her family and friends.Michelle Moeller (Hull)

I remember Ella being kinda shy in the halls, with her arms wrapped around her books and always smiling.Dean Bowden
This message is from one of Ella's daughters. She asked that it be posted. My name is Ashley and I am Ella’s oldest daughter. I was reading all of the comments and I wanted to thank everyone for the memories of my mom. I have heard many stories of when she was a kid terrorizing the neighborhood with my aunts and uncles. I never would have pictured my mom as shy in the halls, thank you for that inside knowledge. She was a very strong woman and did fight very hard since she was first diagnosed in 2004.
Sincerely,
Ashley Grove
