Just wanted to thank everyone who showed up to the reunion on Saturday night. I hope everyone thought it was worth the trip. If you did please tell others so that at the next one everyone comes. I know it's not realistic but good times with old friends only happens once in a great while then we all get on with our busy lives! I will say though that at 38 I am getting a little too old to be dancing for 3 hours straight. I do appreciate all of the nice notes that were placed on various parts of my body by everyone. My wife just shakes her head knowing someday I will grow up and her and I will just have a nice slow dance together. Sunday was a long sore day and got nothing done, Monday was a long sore day and slept at work, Tuesday involved a massage at noon to try to alleviate the pain in my back, neck and shoulders. As Friday approaches....well my body seems to be responding, I'll try my hand in a softball tournament this weekend. Take care everyone!

Thanks to the "Dale Boys" for a nice gathering...and thanks Dean for setting up this site. I think its great. Nice to touch base with those unable to attend.

So, who volunteered to run the 25th (and NO that was not an offer!)?

I have yet to be able to attend a single reunion, as I am always on the road performing, but I do receive updates from friends after it is over. Congrats on putting together a great reunion.

Thanks guys for the great reunion. I LOVE the website, best thing ever thought of for us, thanks. I think you did such a good job that you should do it again.

I loved the Friday night gathering, and would love to maybe see a Sunday picnic at the park, where we can all bring our families and show off our kids. I know I am proud of mine!!

Thanks again for a great job.

This is such an awesome idea. Hey Joe Roesler still dancing, I wish I could have seen that!! I hope this site can maybe get some of us together before the next reunion but if not this is good too. It feels like we are all sitting around and talking like we use to. Now it's about kids and work and aches and pains (Joe) and not where the next party is but it is pretty cool to hear how you are all doing.

Hello Everyone!

I don't know about all of you, but it sure doesn't feel like it has been almost 22 years!

Let me first start by saying that I am not asking you to buy anything! I am posting today because I wanted to share with you my new business and would ask only that you take a look at my website and pass it on to your friends and family. My revenue is created by selling sponsorship packages to corporations and the more hits I have on my website the more they will pay to be a sponsor.

I am very proud to introduce you to "Thoughtful Actions" which is an organization empowering single parent families through motivational events and a self-help website at www.thoughtfulactions.com.

Right now we are starting our events in North Carolina but have plans to go nationwide within 2 years. I would love to be able to come home and bring this wonderful program to Wisconsin.

Again, if you could just visit my website and send it on to your family and friends I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Colleen Middleton (Drephal)

Just attended the New Dublin parade...not sure who is organizing our 25th reunion (it's been that long - really?)...Perhaps we could talk to Brian Hilker (trucking) and have a "float" in the parade that year - or our reunion that weekend?  Just a fun thought

Ok, here's one to test everybodys memory.  I was in a small town near Zion National Park in southwestern Utah checking out a local bike shop for rental info for the next day.  Outside the front door there were several racks of Trek bicycles and Trek brochures inside.  I mentioned to the woman behind the counter that "it was good to see the Trek stuff, because I'm from Wisconsin."  She looks at me sideways and asks, "What part?  My husband is from Waupaca."  I say, "No way, I went to New London High School!"  So now this is finally getting interesting, right?  She asks, "What year?  My husband is 40.  Let me get him!"  Turns out the bike shop owner is Fred Pagels!  I remember the name and face, although he didn't remember me.  He dropped out for a couple years so he didn't graduate on track with us, but he was with us at one point.  He even did some road racing in Wisconsin (he's mostly an off-road guy) so I can't believe I didn't run into him over the years.  Anyway, the next day I rented a bike from him and had an absolutely great 2.5hr ride into (mostly up it seemed) the canyons of Utah on the J.E.M. and Gould's Rim trails.  Check out the website - there's lots of photos.

I know I had one class with Fred somewhere, but I can't remember when/where.  Anybody else?

To the class of '88,

I could think of no other way to blast out an email to the entire class except to post in the message forum on the class website with some unfortunate, heartbreaking news.  Please follow this link:

https://wichmannfuneralhomes.com/obituary/dean-daniel-bowden/

These have been and still are, without doubt, some difficult days and weeks.  I have learned to hold my family closer, pray harder, and listen more intently.  My best to all of you.

-Justin
