Randy Beinhorn

Two years at Gustavus. Accounting degree from Mankato State

Worked at Hy-Point Hatchery in New Prague while attending Mankato State - including sexing baby chicks. Did back hoe work and construction and had a short career doing asbestos work. Began accounting with Ernest and Young for seven years in Minneapolis. Moved to Staples in late 1977 and practiced for 32 years in Public Accounting. Sold firm to employees in 2001, worked for them for the next 8 years and retired in 2009.

Am living my "dream" life. Farming for deer and turkeys. Raising trees. "Mothering" eight New Hamshire Reds and Bared Rock Hens.

Had hoped to winter in Nevada (with no state income tax) but sold home there in 2005. Now visit frequently.
Recently received calls about the Flyin Flivver after all these years. Still have the one that I built in 1956.
Enjoyed trips out West for deer and elk.
One trip to Show Low, Arizona resulted in nice
6x6. (didn't know that Wayn Kubes had a summer place there). Also met up with Jay Fisher in Magdelena, NM and have acquired many of his great knives.
Favorite mounts are in our cabin and can be viewed by any classmate as long as they stay for few days. (our home is across the street).

Current best activity is watching UP with my grandson Abraham.

Spent lots of time with friends, Lloyd and Ralph.
Ralph was the crazy cutup and never got caught.
Spent great summers at Cedar Lake. We would bike out (or hitch a ride) along with 1 pound of frozen hamburger which turned gray by morning.

Always knew that Janet would become the love of my life. What a wonderful story!

An unexpected bonus of this story is having Benny Rezac as my first cousin.
