Just lost my job, was on FMLA sick leave & used up the 480 hours and got the termination letter Sat. May 7th, the day I came home from my second brain surgery since 1997. I had applied for Medical Leave of Absence but they turned me down saying they needed to fill my position permanently. a few years ago another employee was gone for 5 or so months with breast cancer & surgeries and they hired a temp to fill in for her & I thought thats what would happen to me too. I worked there almost 13 years, from 10/19/98 to 2/22/11.

I need a walking partner or two to walk here in town, I am really out of shape and need the exercise but I am not steady on my feet at all so have to be very careful!
