William Krocak

BS Mankato State College

After 4 years in the US Army and serving in Vietnam I was discharged as a Captain and went back to college. Since 1971 I spent and am still working in the corporate Human Resources world. It has been a fantastic career and am not ready to stop working anytime soon. I am working with a company that is growing very rapidly and am enjoying putting my many experiences to work and helping take the company to its next level of growth.

I finally retired in May 2019. Pam and I were ready to begin travel and the COVID virus hit so all was put on hold. Now it is June 2021 and we have begun to travel.

In the past "5 Decades" I have been fortunate to:
Go to college and even graduate
Server this Great Country in the US Army. I enlisted, graduated from the Infantry Officers Candidate School and served at Ft. Dix, NJ, Fort Buckner, Okinawa, 4th Infantry Division, Vietnam.
Met Pam on Okinawa in 1968 and got married Sept 5, 1970.
Finished college and worked for Green Giant Company, Frito Lay, Imperial Sugar Company, Norwood Promotional Products, Birkman Intermational and now Register Tapes Unlimited L.P.
Pam and I have been blessed with 3 great kids and 5 grandkids.

We have enjoyed singing in our church choirs over the past 25 years - sort of reminds me when some of us "guys" sang in the high school choir our senior year.

We have lived in Mankato, MN, Parksburg, PA, Dallas, TX, Los Angeles, CA, Houston, TX, San Antoinio, TX and now in Houston, TX which we consider home since he have spent almost 31 years here.

Since I was a native of New Prague then left and returned to NPHS my senior year it was a very unusal year. I will always treasure the welcome I received when I returned after living in the arch rival town of Jordan, MN.

The real memories were playing basketball and having a great season beating some really outstanding teams.
