Hello, North Mahaska Class of 1988 ! It has been 20 years since graduation.

We haven't been together since the five year reunion. I have not heard of an "official" reunion being planned for the class of 1988. So, after much thought, I have decided that I am willing to start planning one. Since the summer is already upon us, I am thinking that a fall get-together makes more sense for those who have to travel to get home. I am happy to have any help on planning or executing our reunion. At this point I am starting to contact classmates. If you have contact info for someone, please direct them to this website so they can fill out their profile. We can all use this website as a point of contact. I am eager and happy to hear suggestions or desires you may have about a potential fall class reunion.

Melanie Brannen (Vick) I wonder how people would feel about having a reunion on that weekend? What other ideas do others have about a possible date for this shin-dig?

I can make homecoming weekend work for me. I would hate to push this out much past September due to cooler weather and ramping up of school activities and such. Would be nicer to even move it up a bit earlier if possible. With only 34 people to find from our class, I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to find, make arrangements, and get commitments for maybe...mid to late August or so. With nearly half of our class responding to this initially in just a few days, surely the others could be reached rather quickly too. Just a thought.

What are our options for a venue? Restaurant, country club, hall, Osky, New Sharon, Montezuma? Any other thoughts here?

Hi everyone! I wish we could make everyone happy and schedule the reunion on the date they wanted but we all know that is impossible. So with that in mind the survey says.............Homecoming Weekend September 26,27,28! 50% of the classmates who responded chose that date and that was the highest percentage. I am sorry to those who didn't get the chance to vote or who haven't been located yet, but if we don't set the date we won't get the opportunity to get together during this year. I will post the next survey so that we can narrow down our options for what we want to do and where. ciao!
