We lived in Lomira, WI for one year then moved to South Haven, MI when Dave accepted a call to teach at St. Paul Lutheran School.
I did reupholstering in our home for 15 years. I also taught piano lessons, played organ, worked as school janitor for 13 years, and subbed here at St. Paul School in South Haven where Dave was teacher and principal for 39 years. I’ve worked picking and packing blueberries during the summer (South Haven is known for its blueberries). I emergency taught grades 3-5 for a year and also served as a preschool aid for one year. I also worked 21 years for a landscaping company on the maintenance crew, and then mowed at two trailer parks for the last two years. Now I’m retired and enjoying traveling around helping out with grandchildren when we can. I still play organ and continually thank God for all of our wonderful blessings.
