Kathleen Ellen Gongola "Kathy" Pergerson, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Our loved one will be deeply missed by her devoted family and her many friends. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Montview Baptist Church, 2140 Fishinger Rd., Columbus, OH 43221. She is survived by her husband, Larry Pergerson; her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Charlie Reed of Columbus, OH; two sons, Doug Barclay and Grant Barclay of Columbus; grandsons, Tyler and Jackson Reed of Columbus; her father, the Rev. Leonard Gongola of Newark, OH; her sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Ron DeBevoise of Newark, OH; sister-in-law, Ellen Davis and nieces Brandy Debevoise of Newark, OH, and Mary Arias of Dothan, AL; nephew, Donavan Arias of Dothan, AL; and great-nephews, D. J. and Sergio Arias of Dothan, AL. Kathy was born March 22, 1948 in Wheeling, WV to Leonard and the late Rhea Oberle Gongola. She retired January 29, 2010 from the Scotch Bonnet Gift Shop at Scotland Memorial Hospital where she held the position of store manager. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation .
