Eleanor Anna Orr, 78, of Newark, died Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Altercare Newark North. She was born November 7, 1947 in Newark to the late Richard and Imogene (Berry) Butler.

Eleanor spent more than 30 years working at AVI. In her free time, she loved playing Bingo, visiting the casino, and especially looked forward to her weekly lunches with the girls from the Class of 1965, which brought her great joy.

She is survived by her children, Roxie (Calvin Hill) Howard and Keith Ewing; and grandchildren, Paul Alex Richard Ewing and Jagger W. (Tatiana Kosal) Ewing.

In accordance with Eleanor’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
