Gary Lee Moore

Parker, SD - Gary Lee Moore of Parker, South Dakota died Saturday February 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on June 4, 1945 in Newark, OH to Donald and Dorothy (Griffith) Moore. He graduated from Newark High School in 1965. He was drafted into the Army and served as a Specialist in Germany from 1968 to 1970. After discharge, He worked as a fireman/EMT in Newark, Oh, James Island, SC and Charleston, SC. Gary moved to Viborg, SD and worked as an electrician and a volunteer EMT.

He is survived by his first wife, Mary (Foster) of Newark; daughter Vikki and husband Gary Stelzer, Monroe, OH; two sons, Gary Jr. and wife Brenda, Sioux Falls, SD and Patrick and wife, Micheel, Las Vegas, NV; step-daughter, Faydra and husband, Todd Christensen, Viborg, SD; and his grandchildren, Oceann Stelzer, Lucas and Kate Moore, Barret, Aidrick, and Ronan Moore, and Rachel and Zoey Christensen.

In addition to his parents , He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Alan Moore, second wife, Sandra (Young) , and step-son, Robert.

Services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Spring Valley Lutheran Cemetery in Viborg, SD.
