Obituary for Richard Wilson 

WILSON – Richard Wilson, age 72 of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with honors rendered by the Loganville American Legion Post 233. The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 PM prior to the service. Mr. Wilson retired from the Burroughs Corporation and was a member of the Loganville American Legion Post 233. He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force serving in the Special Service Squadron for 10 years. Richard was an avid motorcyclist who always looked out for veterans and loved meeting his friends at the Cup & Saucer every Tuesday and Thursday for breakfast. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years: Mary V. Wilson; son: Scott Wilson of St. Louis, MO; brother: George Wilson of Newark, OH; granddaughter: Zoe Wilson of St. Louis, MO; mother-in-law: Doris Heinemann of Snellville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to the Loganville American Legion Post 233, P.O. Box 127, Loganville, GA 30052.
