John G Marriott  april 19, 1947 - aug 17, 2005

A memorial service for john G Marriottt, 58, of Pinehurst NC, will eb held at 11 am Sa at Sandhills Presbyterian Chuch, in Southern Pines, NC with Rev Ken Cross officiating. Mr. Marriott died Wednesday, Aug 17, 2005, at his home.  He was born April 19, 1947, in Newark Ohio to the late Clyde Marriott and Virgina Priest Marriott.

Mr. Marriot attended Kent State University and graduated from Ohio State University, served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  He was a member of Sandhills Presbyterian Church and worked Marley SPX in Bennettsville, SC.  He loved golf and running.  

He si survived by his wife Ane Kibler Marriott of the the home, a son Tyle Marriott of Oxford, OHio, a daughter Jennie Marriott Lay and Husband Dempsey of Olathe Kan; his granddaughter Maddie Shay, a brother Rick Marriott and wife Kathy of Chillicothe and a brother-in-law Brice Kible and wife Barb of Granville.

Memorials can be made to the First Health Hospice, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst NC 28374 or the the American Cancer Sociaety 11 S Boylan Ave Raleigh NC 27603. Boles Funeral Home in Pinehurst is serving the family.
