A funeral service for Daniel L. Mossholder,59, of Newark will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Heath Chapel of Henderson-VanAtta Funeral & Cremainion Service with Joh Harra officiating.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Mossholder died Oct 12, 2006, at this home.  He ws born Setp 9,1947 in Newark to the late Earl and Lela (Dugan) Mossholder. He was a graduate of Newark High School and Kent State Universiry. where he earned degrees in marketing and finance.  He has workded for more the 20 years in the oil and gas industry.

Dan was a member of Moose Lodge 499, the Ohio Oil & Gas Association and a partner in the Moundbuilders Investmen Club.  He was a charter member and a past president of the Newark Heath Rotary

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Bowman) Mossholder, sons and daughter-in-law, Mark Cummings of Cincinnati and Todd and Jeni Cummings of Pella,Iowa; grandson Jack Cummings, grandaughter, Eden Cummings, brother David (Carol) Mossholder, of Upper Sandusky, two sisters, Alice Jean Mossholder of West Liberty, and Earlene Krieder, of Newark and sevveral nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call from 2 to 5 pm Sunday at the funeral home, 1249 Hebron Road, where Newark moose Lodge 499 will condust a service at 5 pm.
