Sharon R. Moore, 68, of Marysville died Thursday morning, December 10th, at Memorial Hospital following many years of declining health. She was retired from the Marysville Hallmark Store following 12 years of service. 

A member of the Marysville Church of the Nazarene, she will be remembered for her service to others. She was a member of Twig 4 volunteering for over 950 accumulated hours primarily at the Memorial Hospital Gift Shop. She was a volunteer teacher at the Union County Juvenile Detention center where she taught crafts and also formerly served as activities at Heartland of Marysville. Sharon also held memberships in the Red Hat Society and the Windsor and Community Seniors.

Sharon was born February 21, 1947 in Newark to the late Roy and Emma E. Shaffer Vincent. She married Terry L. Moore July 17, 1965 in Newark.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Terry; their children Terry Earl Moore of Columbus, Rachel E. (Shawn) Markin of Marysville, Roberta E. (Thomas) Thorp of Cincinnati; 3 grandchildren, Isaiah, Naomi, Julian; sisters, Madeline (Jim) Detlefs, Connie Dailey, Caylisa Cannon; a brother, James (Patti) Vincent; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Saturday at the Marysville Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Paul Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the church 1 hour prior to the service.
