I went to NMU after the Army briefly. I didnt even complete a semester before I got married and moved to Turkey.
Police Officer Standard Training Academy in 1996 when I became a correctional officer for the state of Utah.

US Army Airborne

After school I enlisted in the Army. I served for almost 2 years. Was honorably discharged and returned to the UP. I enrolled in NMU full time and worked full time at Arby's in Marquette at the same time. About midway thru the school year I got married to Nathanael Wayne Howard. He was stationed at KI Sawyer (before it closed down).Shortly after we got married we were transferred from KI Sawyer to Incirlik AB, Turkey. We spent 3 years there. My oldest son was born there. We returned to the US somewhere around 1995. We got stationed in Utah. I got a job working for the state of Utah for the Utah Department of Corrections and got divorced. I got custody of our son and supported him until I remarried in 1998. I was working at the prison until 2004 when I was poisoned, which caused my disability and resulted in me having to have brain surgery. Now I'm even more odd that I was before LOL. I have a lawsuit pending, so I cant go into a lot of details, other than to say it's in the Utah Supreme Court right now and should be resolved fairly soon.

Rockhounding, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, yard/garage saling

There have been several. One was a week rockhounding at Topaz Mountain in Utah with my husband. Another was a rockhounding trip for Kay's bday we rented 4 wheelers. Many elk hunting trips. A trip to Anchorage, AK and to Marquette, MI all in the same week. A 'nat'l park weekend marathon' where Kay and I visited SEVERAL nat'l parks in Utah in ONE weekend.

I have lived in so many that I have lost count. After I got out of the army and got married, I lived in Turkey for 3 years, then moved to Utah. I've moved around Utah quite a few times.

I miss living on East Lake and being able to go fishing whenever I want. I miss riding my 4 wheeler and being able to get away into the woods. The smell of dead leaves in the fall. Utah doesnt have trees except up in the mountains. The Utah state tree is a telephone pole. I miss people who are human. People in Utah are just plain weird. The majority of them are Mormon (LDS) and they are WEIRD!

I would repay all the people who have helped us when we lost our house and almost lost everything else we owned. Probably donate some to my church, to the Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation, to Cure Cancer Foundation, and the Alzheimer's Association.
