Brian Devers

Spent I year at Mount Olive College in NC and then transferred to Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Graduated in '99 with a degree in Accounting. Went on a missions trip to Hawaii for 2 months doing Summer Camps, 5 Day clubs and repairing a Church. Stayed in Lynchburg and got a job with a local accounting firm. Joined Heritage Baptist Church in 2000 and met my wife to be the first week she visited the church. Went on a missions trip to China for 3 weeks in summer of 2001. Married Carrie in the Fall of 2001. We had 3 boys before breaking the mold and having a girl. Spent 18 years in the world of public accounting before switching to financial planning.

Not many people get to say their dad was their science teacher for 5 year. Health & PE teacher 1 year. And JR High basketball coach 1 year. I could have had him for 6 years of science, but I elected to fill my schedule with computers and accounting and skip chemistry.
