Carolyn Woodruff

Well, I've lived in Pittsburgh and its surrounding areas as well as Savannah, GA (which I'd love to move back to some day). With all my travels and various jobs, I haven't finished my degree yet (though I have enough collective credits for a Batchelor's).

However, I am still doing well for myself, I have a good position in a Fourtune 18 company (the parent company of the CVS pharmacies), I am an independent artist and have worked on 7 independent films, in the process of getting my graphic novel ready for publication, tutor Native youth in the Lakota language online for free, have designed several logos for businesses as well as work in marketing and advertising from brochures-web-television, and in my previous job, I handled artifacts and dinosaur fossils from all over the world. I am also an ordained minister and work with local groups to help troubled and GLBT youth and women as well as outreach peoples of other religions to find peace, understanding, and common ground with each other instead of hate and bitterness. Our motto is that is not our place to judge and hate, but to accept, love, understand, and lend a shoulder and a hand.

In what little free time I do have, I also am a martial artist in the art of Tang Soo Do aligned with the International Tang Soo Do Federation, am pow wow dancer representing my people -the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, assist in various degrees of operation for anime,comic book, and sci-fi/fantasy/horror conventions in which I've met actors, voice actors, artists, writers, etc. spanning the fields. I am also a member of the American Indian Movement and do alot of work for Native American, women's, GLBT, and anyone suffering from oppression's rights.

I also recently bought a house w/ my other half in which we are remodeling.

There's so many! I think the JRTOC class slipping on the wax when we were marching in the hall one day and the security guards being scared of the pet rat in our genetics class room are pretty high up there. :)
