Fred Dick, 61, died Sunday, December 21, 2003 at his residence in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was born April 29, 1942 to Carroll and Claudine (Parks) Dick in Newton.

Fred retired from Dillon's Grocery where he was a butcher for more than 30 years. in 1989 he and his wife moved to Grand Lake, CO, where they owned and operated Grumpy's Grill until 1999 when they returned to Prairie Grove to open a new restaurant, Charlie's Old Locker Grill.

At his death, survivors included: His wife, Charlie Dick of the home; two sons, William Dick and Gary Dick, both of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Ruth Anne Lange of Mound, MN and Carolea Dick of Newton; and a grandson.

Following his death, family greeted friends at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove and funeral services were at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove.
