MARION -- Beverly J. Helmer, 69, passed away at her residence, on April 9, 2012, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 15, 1942, at Hillsboro, the daughter of Eugene and Pearl Rockey Cook.
She is lovingly survived by her husband Gary Helmer of Marion; children: Dan Schaefer (Jeanette) of Hillsboro; and Gina Schaefer (Lisa Pinney) of Marion; step-children: Michelle Glahn (Steve) of Marion; Angela Spielman (Mike) of Baldwin City; and Dwayne Helmer (Scott Garvey) of Lenexa; and their families; twin sister Barbara Graham (Chris) of Abilene; and siblings: Jim Cook (Sheila) of Marceline, MO; Mary Gilchrist of Petaluma, CA; and Susie Hargis (John) of Napa, CA.
Visitation with family will be held on Thursday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Marion Christian Church. Interment will be in the Marion Cemetery.
