From Gini Johnson: I don't know how many of us knew Jackie King, but I saw her at my brother's 50th reunion two years ago and knew she was very ill. The following is the notice of her passing. Note: She had a very interesting business.

Jackie Ann King Arnold, 69, died October 31, 2012 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center
after a prolonged illness. She was born in Wichita, Kansas November 6, 1942, the daughter of John
and Margaret (Peg) King. Jackie grew up in Newton, Kansas, graduating from high school in 1960. She attended Wichita State University. Jackie moved to Destin, FL in the 1980s and was the owner and captain of a fishing boat, the Pescador III. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Susan LaForge. She is survived by a nephew, D’Arcy LaForge of California and several cousins. Jackie was a hard worker, loved to be on the water, and had many friends. She will be missed. A memorial service was held on the wharf in Destin.

Yes, I remember well... since they lived across the alley from my dad and he and Johnnie were good friends. So sorry to learn she has been so ill and now gone.
