Victor Lynn Coleman passed away Sept. 10, 2007.

He was born Nov. 17, 1944 in Newton.  He was a 1962 graduate of Newton high School and graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colo.  He served four years in the United States Air Force Band, playing trombone, and served overseas in Okinawa, Japan.  he was the owner/operator of the China nd Crystal Clinic in Tempe, Ariz. where he was an artisan in glass restoration for the past 25 years.  He attended the Red Mountain Community Church in Mesa, Ariz.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Baker of Charleston, Tenn.; daughters, Teri Anne Slaymaker and Michelle L. Lane of Aurora, Colo.; stepsons Mark and Jim Sublette of Mesa, Ariz.; a grandson, Paul Sublette of Mesa, Ariz.; sisters, Arlene Berger of Charleston, Tenn. and Fran Miller of Perkins, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Morrell Coleman.
