Susan Kay Davis, 63, of De Soto passed away Sunday (June 8, 2008).  She had not been feeling well since about February, and they were not able to locate the problem.  May 31 they discovered a mass in her stomach.  She was to have a biopsy but then suffered a stroke postponing that for a couple of days.  The results were pancreatic cancer.

Susan was born Sept 9, 1944 in Newton.  She was a graduate of Newton High School and Kansas State University.  She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority at KSU.

Susaan was an avid KSU sports fan.  She worked in the banking industry for more that 20 years.

Survivors include children, Ali and Scott Davis and brother and sister in law, Lon and Emily Dillman;  nephews Lon and Wade Dillman; and great-nephew Titus Dillman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mick and Trudy Dillman.
