Dr. Lee Shriver "Jack" Fent II, 55, of Newton, pediatrician at Wichita Clinic Bethel, died Monday Feb 7, 2000 at his residence in Newton.

He was born July 7, 1944 in Wichita to Dr. Lee Shriver and Selma (Unruh) Fent.  They survive of Newton.  He married Cincy Hill Nov. 16, 1969, in Newton.  She survives of Newton.

He was a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and former president and board member of the Early Childhood Development Center in Hays.  He practiced in Hays for 19 years before moving to Newton in 1993. 

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Laura Diane Fent of Wichita and Lanya Eileen Fent of Los Angeles; and two sisters, Jan Johnson of Parkville and Jill Thompson of Wichita.
