Carolyn S. Nickel, 50, died Saturday (July 8, 1995) as a result of an automobile accident.  Her son Corey also died in the same wreck.  She was the daughter of Earl and Dorothy Koeneman and sister of Priscilla Muesser, all of Newton.

She was bookkeeper for Health Care Billing Consultants and banquet service employee for Marriott Hotel, both in Wichita.

Survivors include her husband, Roger of Wichita; one daughter, Tiffany Nickel of Wichita; two other sisters, Joce Thomas of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and Sylvia Barb of Emporia.
