Richard Brent Williams, 61, died Saturday October 15, 2005 at Hutchinson Hospital.

He was born June 8, 1944 in Newton, the son of Lester and Virginia McDonald Williams.

He graduated from Newton High School and Fort Hays State University, with a bachelor of arts degree in business.  A resident of Hutchinson, moving from Lyons, he worked in inventory at Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

He belonged to the Lions Club, Lyons, was a Free Mason and participated in the March of Dimes Walk America.

Survivors include: three sons, Ronald B. of LaCrosse, Bradley of Denver and A.J. of South Huchinson; a daughter, Phoebe Barton of Little River; his mother, Virginia of Newton; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Doug Williams.
