I, too, remember Barry well. He was one of the really good guys in our class. Very sorry to learn of his passing.
If there's a silver lining in the cloud of his death, it's to once again hear from both Jerry Slavet and Harriet Rodman. Of course, I remember both of you so well. There were few more fun loving good guys in our class than Jerry (a lot of good times together) and the same could be said about Harriet who, like Jerry, was also a pretty good athlete, if I remember correctly.
I suppose this is the principal benefit of this website, i.e. to see various comments/messages, etc. from voices of the past and friends that we haven't seen or spoken to in so many years. It's amazing how one sees a name or reads a message and, instantly, one can visualize that friend and almost hear them talking again. I certainly look forward to the real thing over Memorial Day weekend.
Am not sure if I am doing this correctly............this is in reponse to what Robert wrote............
