nhs graduation 1969/ drafted sept 1969 in army went into to army as a operation room technician spent 18 months in vietnam 2 miles from the dmz 17 parallel at quantri proveince at 18 mash unit ,91 evacuation hosptial in chu lia proveince for 7 months , 31/2 years army /usnavy 20 years first depolyment to desert strom 8 miles from the first strike and liberated Kuwait city from Iraq traveled to far east asia. southeast asia, australia, hong kong, japan , phillipines, germany, england, hawaii, alaska, singapore,thailand, kenya canada, newfoundland california, maine, south carolina, north carolina new orleans, mississippi
since, my last transmission I am currently working at Sacred Heart in San Destin as a Central Processing Technician, so I donot see some of you guys at Ft Walton hospital. The work there is rewarding and less stress full, I like the atmosphere, although it is a long drive but the money is worth the drive. The daughter finally move out but will be back in july her situation didnot work out for her be glad to have her back. I finally got to go home to Newfoundland this summer , MY boss was also in Newfoundland the same time I was , I didnot know this until I got back to Florida, small world we live in If you think about it. THe wife went on social security disability for her back, so she gets her retirement before I do. most of my travels were in the US Navy I was mainly in the Medical Core as a Operation room technician and a field Medic(corpsman) awards and medals from different conflicts are to numerous to count but I have seen the beginings and ends of some wars to date
