Oct 9: Either/or?

Question about Oct 9:

I see that Fri. night at 7 there'll be a a football game and at 7:30 is the dinner/bonfire.  I assume we need to choose one or the other to attend?  So if we go to the game(if it's a home game), then does that mean we sign up/pay only for the Saturday events or will the Fri. night activities still be going on after the game?  (I'd love to do both but it looks impossible!)

Trena,

Still working out details but we are thinking of how people can have the option to do both.  Not sure what sort of interest there is in the game yet as we don't know the schedule.  The district apparently is going through some changes.  Anyway, for those that want to go to the game, for now it is pay for your own ticket but depending on how many folks go, we may be able to purchase if there are extra funds.  Games are usually over by 9 but thinking many will leave at halftime.  We are planning on the school allowing our group to be announced at intro of game or halftime.  TBD>  Then plan is to head over to Luau and join those that didn't want to attend the game.  Times are all still tentative.  We may start the Luau at 8 and go until 11 or 12, just depends.  Does that help at all??  Basically, food is based on numbers of attending for Luau so if you pay to go you will have food no matter when you arrive.  (and drink tickets)

I was wondering about this, too. I would definitely vote for some way to do both.

If I have to choose, I'll choose the football game, but would love to make the luau, so if there's a way to make the luau last longer so us football junkies can go, I'll be there.
