I received my B.A. in Piano Performance and Elementary Education, with a minor in chemistry from Bethel University. I worked as a medical technologist at the South Bend Medical Foundation until 1990, then moved to Grand Rapids and went back to grad school in Piano Performance at Michigan State University. I served as Music Director at St. Cecilia Music Society for seven years. I have served as staff accompanist at both Grand Valley State University, Calvin University, and Opera Grand Rapids. I now have released two solo piano albums and recorded with various artists throughout the United States. I maintain a private piano studio, conduct the Schubert Male Chorus, play at Temple Emanuel in Grand Rapids, serve as the collaborative pianist for Grand Rapids Women’s Chorus, and actively perform with various musicians throughout West Michigan. Bruce and I have nine grandchildren.
