Robert Waggoner can anyone tell me why the cost is so high i mean come on some of us have alot of stuff already and i talked to some people who graduated in 98 and they didn't pay that much

Hi Robert - Thanks for asking! I hope you are doing well, and I am happy to provide you with the details.

First off, the $45 per person (or $40 if you sign up with someone) includes ALOT! We are going to have a 4-hour OPEN bar with unlimited liquor, beer, and wine, a great dinner, desserts, etc. Also, this cost will include party favors for every classmate, the decorations, the DJ, the gratuity for the wait staff, and more. We have to charge a little bit more than what the venue will charge us so that we can cover costs, as we do not have a class account with funds left over from 1999. Also, I always look at it this way: If I go to a nice dinner and drink for 4 hours, I usually spend a good amount more than $45, and I am definitely not walking home with anything to remember the night by! Hey Robert -

One more thing...

I also talked to some members of the class of 1998 and I heard that they went to a bar and did not have a full-on dinner/drinks event as we are...I also heard that it was put together last minute, so maybe they did not have a banquet hall available. We have been working on this for months. We are doing it completely differently than they did, so with that being said, the costs are obviously different given the venues we have chosen!
