Each classmate can control what personal data they enter on the website, and how much of that data is exposed to people outside the classmates. There are two "checkboxes" on each classmate's profile page that controls which data is exposed to classmates, and which data is exposed to the "world". Each classmate can make their own determination on what data they wish to share.
