You know what? I'm kinda tired of only seeing you people once every five years, so a couple of us were thinking, how about we don't wait for our 30th, and we get together whoever is interested to go on a 4-5 day cruise. I don't know how many of you have ever been on one, but they are basically a floating party. There is always something to do, something to eat, something to drink, and something to bet on. Sheri Dishman (Cash) and I are looking at some cruises, and we're probably looking at some time in 2011, so we're giving you plenty of heads up, but I want to know if there is even enough interest to move forward with this as a class thing. Dish, Schwede, their old men and me and my old lady are definitely in, and I think you should be, too . My wife and I try to do one or two of these a year, so if you can't wait till 2011, let me know that, too, and maybe we can make something happen earlier. Most of the 4-5 day cruises out of this area hit the Bahamas and Mexico, and both places are a lot of fun. So, the first step is to find out how many of you think that sounds like fun (either in 2011 or sooner...let me know your preference) and then we can start narrowing down the possible dates and itineraries. For those of you that have never cruised before, you would more than likely fly in the morning that the cruise departs and they would have a bus waiting for you at the airport, and they would also pick you up at the port and take you back to the airport when we get home. You can check with your local travel agent or book a fake trip on one of the cruise websites (we'll probably be doing Carnival) to see how it works.
