Bruce Blank - 1951-2013 - Rest in Peace, my friend.

Bruce Alan Blank 

Bruce Alan Blank passed away November 29, 2013 in Einstein Medical Center Montgomery after a brief illness. He was 62. Born in Bryn Mawr on February 9, 1951, he was the son of the late Thomas Blank and the late Dorothy Jeanne (Shubert) Blank. A 1969 graduate of Norristown Area High School, he attended Rochester Institute of Technology. For many years, Bruce operated a photography studio in King of Prussia and later worked for the American Society of Media Photographers. Bruce's love of the culinary arts led to a second career and he attended the Culinary Institute of America and started Second Course, a catering business. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Michele (Rath) Blank; his sister, Judy Blank Fullan, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home, 200 West Germantown Pike, Norristown, PA 19401 on Saturday, Dec. 7. The family will receive friends beginning at noon, followed by a service at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Bruce's memory be made to a charity of the donor's choice .
