Philip Kriebel

Philip Richard Kriebel, of the Bronx, N.Y. and formerly of Norristown, died on Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at his residence. Mr. Kriebel was 55 years old.

Born in Norristown on Sept. 12, 1951, a son to the late Edward and Rosellen (Alderman) Kriebel.

He was employed as a compliance officer with Medical Waste Healthcare Environmental in New York. He was a former health code inspector for the borough of Norristown. He graduated from Norristown High School, class of 1969 and also graduated from the Montgomery County Community College. He enjoyed watching movies, singing karaoke and had sung at many weddings. He had also worked as a singing maitre'd at the Chateau Graniere Caterers. He liked baseball and had coached softball and umpired at many softball games.

He is survived by his sister, Connie (David) Smith of East Norriton; two brothers, Edward Kriebel of Cheyenne, Wyo. and David Kriebel of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Several nieces and nephews also survive him.

Relatives and friends are invited to participate in Philip's Life Celebration service at the Boyd-Horrox Funeral Home of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike on Saturday, May 26 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Janice Vogt of Grace Lutheran Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Jeffersonville. www.LifeCelebration.com
