Glenn E. Metz, 55, of Norristown, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006. Born in Norristown, he was the son of the late Walter and Lillian (Gordon) Metz.
Mr. Metz was a former Park Ranger for Montgomery County, prior to his retirement, a member of many local gun clubs, including the Lower Providence Rod and Gun Club and a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed trap shooting, along with hunting and fishing, and for many years was ranked as high as 3rd in Pennsylvania Trap Shooting.
Mr. Metz is survived by son, Kevin (Kristine) of Norristown, a daughter, Kimberly (Brian) Muscarella of West Norriton, a former wife, Rita Robinson of Trooper, a brother, Walter "Jake" (Bonnie) Metz of Limerick, a sister, Ruth Burns of Audubon, six grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Lynn Metz.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at the Caramenico Funeral Home, Main and Walnut Streets, Norristown on Tuesday, November 21 from 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a grandchildren college fund is being developed and contributions can be made for that purpose to "Rita Robinson", 718 Sunnyside Avenue, Trooper, PA 19403.
