David Michael Ostrander   

David Michael Ostrander passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in Montgomery Hospital after a brief illness, he was 60. Mr. Ostrander of Jeffersonville was a self employed carpenter and carpet installer. As a teenager he was a Times Herald delivery boy. David was a member of the White Stag Bowmen of Sullivan County. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and taking walks with his beloved dog Kodie. He enjoyed traveling to New Hampshire and California to visit family. He graduated from the American Institute of Drafting. David was born on April 24, 1951 in Kingston NY. and is the son of Zola (King ) Ostrander of Jeffersonville and the late Myron David Ostrander. David is also survived by a brother, William J. Ostrander, husband of Janice (Johnson) of California; sisters, Bonnie J. Jones, wife of Larry Jones of New Hampshire, Becky O. Comer, wife of Lee Comer of Gilbertsville; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. David will be greatly missed my family and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter King Ostrander, husband of Helen (Mirrione) of California. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday March 3 at 2 PM from the Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church, 1921 W. Main St., Jeffersonville. The Rev. David Larkins will officiate. In lieu flowers contributions can be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike Conshohocken PA 19428 or a charity of your choice .
