Lorraine M. Prendergast, 70, of Limerick, passed away peacefully Friday evening, June 24th 2022 at home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of James E. Prendergast with whom she shared 51 years of marriage.

Born on July 22, 1951, in Norristown, she was the daughter of Assunta (Sue) Cinaglia and the late Orlando Cinaglia. 
Lorraine was a graduate of the Norristown Area High School class of 1969.  She married her high school sweetheart Jim in 1971 and began a life filled with love, family and joy.  She co-owned West Norriton 7-Eleven with her husband for many years and ended her career making residents smile at Meadowood Senior Living when she retired in 2016.  Lorraine's love of family was evident in everything she did; spending time with her children, grandchildren, having family dinners but most of all celebrating holiday traditions. Anyone who knew Lorraine knew of her love for Christmas, from baking cookies, to decorating and showering her family with special gifts she truly made it the most special time of the year.

Lorraine is survived by her children Sheri (John) Zawislak, Lorri (Ronnie) Pitts, Jimmy (Lindsey) Prendergast Jr., Michael (Jenna) Prendergast Sr., and Brian (Diane) Prendergast, and 18 grandchildren who were her pride and joy.  
In addition to her children and grandchildren, Lorraine leaves behind a sister Kathy (Jake) Jacobson, many nieces and nephews and a large extended family who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Cinaglia.
 
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing at Holy Savior Church, 407 E Main St. Norristown   on Thursday June 30, 2022 from 8:30 to 9:45am, followed by her funeral mass at 10AM. Burial will be private at a convenience to the family.
